# Managing Team Seats and Billing

> How seats work on Craft's per-member Team plan: adding members, reducing seats, and managing your team's billing.

Craft's per-member [Team plan](https://craft-support.mintlify.site/en/account-and-subscription/subscription-plans/team-plans.md) is billed by the seat. This article explains how seats work and where to manage your team's billing.

## How Seats Work

Your subscription covers a set number of seats. Each team member occupies one seat.

* **Team size**: from 3 up to 99 members. A yearly subscription starts at \$180 per year for a team of 3.
* **Pricing**: \$60 per member per year, or \$6 per member per month.

## Adding Members

Inviting someone within your purchased seat allocation does not add another paid seat.

Inviting someone beyond your purchased seat allocation adds a paid seat to your subscription. You're charged immediately for the remaining portion of the current billing period, and your renewal price increases accordingly.

When extra seats are purchased, the subscription payer and the team admins receive an email confirmation showing who added the seats, the amount charged, and the new renewal price.

## Upgrading from Plus

Switching from an individual Plus subscription to the Team plan can't be done from the billing portal. [Contact our support team](mailto:support@craft.do) and we'll set it up for you.

## Removing Members and Reducing Seats

Removing a member frees up their seat, but it does not automatically lower your subscription price. To reduce the number of seats you're paying for, [contact our support team](mailto:support@craft.do) and we'll adjust your subscription.

## Managing Your Team's Billing

The subscription owner can manage billing from **Settings > My Subscription > Billing & Subscription**:

* Cancel the subscription
* Update the payment method
* Download invoices
* Add VAT or company details (prices are shown excluding VAT)

Seat count can't be changed from the billing portal. Invite members in the app to add seats, or contact support to remove them.
