# VAT Information

> Add VAT ID or company details to your Craft invoice.

If you need to add your VAT ID or company details to your Craft invoice, the process depends on which payment method you're using.

## Stripe Subscriptions (Current)

If you have a **Stripe** subscription (new web subscriptions):

Stripe **automatically calculates and applies VAT** based on your location. To add your company details and VAT number:

    Go to **Team Settings > Billing & Subscription**
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Click **Settings and Billing** to open the Stripe billing portal
  </Step>

  <Step>
    In the billing portal, you can add:

    * Company name
    * VAT/Tax ID number
    * Billing address
  </Step>

  <Step>
    These details will appear on all future invoices
  </Step>
</Steps>

Stripe automatically validates VAT numbers for EU businesses and applies the appropriate tax treatment.

## Paddle Subscriptions (Legacy)

If you have a **Paddle** subscription (legacy web subscriptions):

[Paddle](https://paddle.com/) is our previous payment processor that still handles some existing subscriptions.

### Add or Update VAT Details for Paddle

You can add or edit VAT and company information on your Paddle invoice after purchase:

    Open the **payment confirmation email** from Paddle (subject line: "Your receipt for Craft subscription")
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Click the **View Invoice** or **Edit Information** link
  </Step>

  <Step>
    On the invoice page, select **Add/Edit Company Details**
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Enter your **company name, VAT number, and billing address**
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Click **Save** to update the invoice
  </Step>

The invoice will refresh to reflect the newly added company and VAT details. You can download or print it from the same page.

## App Store Subscriptions

If you subscribed through the **App Store**:

Apple manages all billing for App Store subscriptions. VAT is automatically calculated by Apple based on your location. To access your receipts:

* Check your Apple ID purchase history
* Apple emails receipts to your Apple ID email address
* Visit [Apple's billing support](https://support.apple.com/billing) for assistance

## Find Your Receipts

All receipts for Stripe and Paddle subscriptions are available in the Craft app:

**Team Settings** → **Billing** → **Billing & Subscription**

From there, you can access and download your invoices at any time.
